SAINTS

Hailing from the city of Los Angeles, CA., Stan Nuñez, better known as “Saints” or “Boombox Kid”, is known for his old school B-Boy characters reminiscent of the golden era of Hip Hop. A love affair with art dating back to his childhood, Saints was infatuated with cartoons and comic characters, cultivating a deep desire to recreate them from a young age.

 The streets of LA exposed Saints to the graffiti culture which inspired him to take his creations to the next level combining his love of cartoon characters and the usage of aerosol paint. A vital part of his creative process and inspiration is a boombox playing music as a backdrop during his work. This is where Saints secondary nickname ‘“Boombox Kid” originates from.

Saints’ goal with art is to generate a warm and cheerful sense of nostalgia while keeping his masterpieces "Funky Fresh".
