"Most of my Afghani compadres were pretty good guys and they really seemed to like working with us. As to any breweries there it is difficult to say. If so, it was sometime ago since they are Muslim and the Taliban were on the extreme end of the Muslim scale. When the Russians were there they spent most of their time trying to eject them. So if there were ever any breweries there they were foreigner operated and most likely British or German. If German they probably brewed weiss beer since they grow alot of wheat there. RJ"
