| This plan show the detail that Brian is capable of, as well as the fore-thought that went into this project. Notice the space between the fermentation tanks in the top of the drawing - that is for a bottling line in the near future! |
 |
| The second drawing - This is a lay-out of the 2-Row Pale Malt Hopper, the Malt Mill, and the relative orientation of the Flex Auger that supplies crushed malt to the Mash Tun. It is a somewhat incomplete lay-out, and was used to communicate our requirements to the grain handling system supplier (Industrial Systems and Fabrication of Spokane, WA). The Flex Auger is 3.5" in diameter and will deliver 100 lbs / min to the Mash Tun, thereby eliminating the need for a Grist Case. The Mill is capable of cracking 8,000+ lbs / hr. |
